The civil case component of CJIS for Courts supports any type of civil case handled by the court, including small claims.

CJIS for Courts tracks case information such as the case type, caption, related cases, judge or arbitrator, claim information, court, exhibits and maximum trial dates. On inquiry, the system summarizes the activity for each case by displaying the status of the case, the last event and date, the next event date and time, the number of parties, and the number of active parties.
